Ordering, Shipping and Returns

I want you to be happy with your purchased artwork.

Every attempt has been made to photograph and render each piece as accurately as possible. However, there will be differences in how it is displayed on different devices, screens and browsers, depending on colour, contrast and resolution settings and display screen surfaces. Variations due to its digital rendering are not a valid reason for return.

Please note: As with most purchases of art, the Artwork provided by us does not carry the right of reproduction.  The artwork itself becomes yours at the point of purchase and the exchange of funds, however, all copyright is retained by the artist, Matt Ayer. Images must not be resold or reproduced without the artist’s written permission.

Payment

Payment can be made in one of 3 ways: Paypal, credit card or online bank transfer. I do not store any of your credit card or bank details. If you choose to pay by bank transfer it saves me transaction fees. Selecting this option, the piece will be marked as sold on the website and I will email you details of how to pay. Once payment is received, shipment will be made in the usual way.

Delivery

There is a flat delivery charge based on estimated size and weight of each piece that will appear at checkout. This applies to all UK Mainland deliveries only.

Any piece that will be larger than 1m when packed will require an individual shipping quote. I will contact you by email to discuss this.

Delivery charges are inclusive of courier fees, packing materials and labour.

As I am a part-time artist and not always able to get to the studio, please allow up to 10 days before shipment. After an order is received, I will apply a clear isolation coat to protect painted pieces and once this has dried thoroughly, I will wrap and ship the piece. For UK Mainland deliveries, I use Royal Mail or ParcelForce, dependent on weight and size. Most deliveries will arrive within 2 days of shipping. If you need delivery by a specific date or expedited shipping, please contact me to see what we can arrange. This may incur an extra charge.

My studio is in Ivybridge in South Devon (PL21) and if you would prefer to collect the piece yourself or arrange a local delivery please enter the code LOCAL at checkout and I will contact you by email to arrange this.

International Delivery

If you would like to arrange international shipment, please email me to discuss whether shipment can be made to that country and what the delivery charge will be, as it will inevitably be higher than for UK Mainland. Please be aware that the shipment may incur import duties and taxes according to the laws of that country. Any additional charges such as these are the customer’s responsibility and at the customer’s expense. I have no control over these and accept no responsibility for additional charges.

Returns

If a piece is not as you expected, you have 14 days from receipt to contact me by email and request a refund. As each piece is an original work of art, it is not possible to replace it ‘like for like’. Once a return is agreed, you are responsible for packing it safely for transit and arranging return delivery using the same service it has been sent with. Once a piece has been safely returned, I will refund your payment within 14 days.

I am equally invested in ensuring that the artwork arrives to you undamaged and pack and protect each one with care. If, however, a piece has been damaged in transit to you, please take a photograph of the damage and damaged packaging and contact me within 7 days.

I am unable to accept returns from items sent internationally.
